Two killed, 5 injured in Gulmarg grenade attack

Two people including a tourist and a seven-year old boy were killed, and five other persons wounded, in a grenade explosion in the north Kashmir's Gulmarg mountain resort on Sunday afternoon.

Police said militants lobbed a grenade at the bus stand in the Gulmarg health resort which exploded causing injuries to six persons.

"One of the injured persons identified as Ashok Kumar belonging to Uttar Pradesh succumbed to his injuries," a senior police officer said. 7-year old Mohammad Yusuf also succumbed to his injuries.

The other injured including one more tourist were taken to Tangmarg district hospital for treatment.
