NSIC to set up software park in Madras

The National Small Industries Corporation Limited is to set up a software technology park in Madras by August next year, according to Chairman and Managing Director M Ahmad.

Ahmad claimed there is a good demand for the park coming up in Madras.

He said that the Delhi Software Park, which was set up about two years ago, has made exports worth Rs 150 million in 1997-98, up from Rs 85 million during the previous year.
